Earth Hour: A WWF campaign

WWF’s Earth Hour is an annual global celebration where people switch off their lights for one hour to show they care about the future of our planet.

Earth Hour began in Sydney, Australia in 2007 and last year 172 countries took part. It is not about the amount of energy saved in that one hour, it's a chance to put the spotlight on the issues facing the planet and to inspire people around the world to live more sustainably.

Everyone around the world was encouraged to share their #earthhour pics on social media and WWF Korea collated these pics on their website using AwesomeWall.

The AwesomeWall displayed the hundreds of inspirational ways in which people were celebrating and supporting our planet.
